So, New Years Eve marathon of CSI has just turned me into a total freak about this show!!! IM OBSESSED. I think it might be my new West Wing. I mean nothing can be as sweet as the west wing. But I'm freaking out. It's so good. Seriously maybe Catherine and Grissom are my favorite people/ship in the whole wide world. I don't really know why im writing this here, except that no one else really understands how weird i am when i'm a recent convert to an awesome show. I NEED TO SEE MORE EPISODES AND GET BACKGROUND INFO ON LIKE EVERYONE!!! THERES SO MUCH TO DO!!!! *twitches* ahhhh ok I'm done freaking out for like five minutes
Anyways, how is everyone else? I know I've just been absolutely horrible about keeping in touch and I apologize. Junior year is eating my life basically, leaving no time for good ol' fashioned EL JAY fun! Give me an update on your lives!

I LOVE THANKSGIVING!
Aunt's house and then Melvins for another viewing of Hairspray! Now were going out to lunch so that will be a good time.
In other news, I've been watching MTV.... Which is a new devolopment that I DO NOT WANT! I really hate MTV but how can you resist watching an hour documentary about competitive eating.... Damn you MTV...
I also decided that I want more sweaters. But I don't know where to go sweater shopping. So if anyone has suggestions for pretty and cheap sweaters, let me know.
I heard August Rush was really good and i want to see it. Anyone else have reviews of new movies?
Melvin also introduced me to this comic strip called Questionable Content. ITS AWESOME! Everyone should go read it right now.

AHHHHH HAIRSPRAY DVD IS KILLER!!!!!!!!! Shake and Shimmy edition is AMAZING!!!! There is one bonus feature with Allison Janney. and a bunch of other where they talk about her and are like... well she should have been in this more because SHE IS THE BEST EFFING PART!!!! Oh my god it is soooooo good. I've watched it three times in the last 24 hours. SO GREAT. Anyways, Happy Thanksgiving to everyone. That's all. Love you !

well it's been a while. so pretty fast update on things: obessed with the office, still obsessed with CJ/Danny, fanfiction, TWW et. al. No more foster kids at all. junior year sucks but im coping and kinda like it. kinda like this one kid at my school. still wanna be a speech writer. laptops are the key to good procrastination. most of my friends have gone or are planning to go to boarding school. life's pretty great except for that friend thing... i am still freakishly linked to music.
Now that that is out of the way... I don't really have anything to post about except for the fact that i got great new music today that I wanted to put up in Music: section on my livejournal post. And also it will probably please katie that I'm posting. Because i never post anymore.
In general not a lot else is going on except well, Allison Janney is in the same state as I am. Or will be at least. She's going to be in Philidelphia. So 8 hours between be and basically god.

Finished the Bean Trees today. I cried. A lot. It was a sad sad sad book. Then i had to move on because I still have quadruple digits of homework to do before school starts next monday...
Monday is Moolatte day at dairy queen. I got two for 99cents each. WOOHOO. That's a big deal because they are normally $3.68. I know right?
I guess I'll include a new life update in this post as I promised. I now work at my State Representative's office. The other week I got to run the office. Everyone is awesome and they all have this certain air of If you get on their bad side they will be pissed and can do governmental things about it. So I love where I work and it's amaaaazing because I also visited the California State Capitol this summer and was there from 8p.m. until 4 a.m. watching them pass the budget. In the freaking Assembly chambers. It was a great summer. Yeah and my science teacher just for married to the sister of the Representative I work for so it's a pretty small world out there. I mean i guess it's not that weird because we all live in this same stupid little town. But still seriously what are the freaking odds... No seriously what are they? I want to know...

Ok, it's become hard to resist being on Livejournal any longer. Too much awesome stuff is going on to be disconnected from my best source of getting all new Allison Janney information.
Well, since I have not been on in multiple months, I guess I should update on what's going on around my stupid small town and with me and everything but I'm not really sure anyone would care to read that all at once (or at all). So I think I'll just post a little bit of an update everytime I post something of actual interest.
This time it will be:
Band Camp! It's like two weeks of hell with a parade at the end. I am a silk/colorguard/guard member. In general we do things with flags... There's nothing we really contribute to the band proper and if one day we all just dropped off the face of the earth, no one would really need to change anything except maybe moving the rockettes up half way up the field for pre-game drill. It's ok though because I am not filled with the spirit that everyone else seems to posess in this inane activity. At least I know that we aren't important... I also take comfort in the fact that we are playing some pretty sweet songs this year including but not limited to: Pinball Wiard, Touch Me, Some Kind of Wonderful, Hard Days Night/Magical Mystery Tour, Cool, AND THE FREAKING TIME WARP. We get to do the dance from the Time Warp so I'm pretty psyched...

oh man that was sooo good I can't even think straight. Jordan/Danny have moved up a place in my favorite relationship list and so have Harriet/Matt just because of that last montage.

Other than that, FINALS ARE OVER IN 12 HOURS and then I'm just done for the year after I return all my text books. I have also started all my summer work for AP U.S. History and for English. We have to read the Invisible Man and One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. Then we can choose between the House on Mango Street or The Bean Trees. Yeah any suggestions??
Three Rivers Arts Festival tomorrow after my last final. There are always these really great people who make pots with Beatles lyrics written on them with this ink paint stuff that pops up off the pot or plate or whatever they put it on. I'll take pictures because it's really too awesome to miss. I have one with the lyrics to Golden Slumber written on it.
Then after the Arts Festival I'm going to Katie's house for a crazy bon-fire which I'm really excited about. I'm debating whether or not to take my French workbook so I can burn it and laugh loudly *rubs hands together maliciously*
Hit two homeruns in softball tonight. We won 20 to 5. Then went for ice cream. It made me feel like such an American little girl. Like let's play softball and win and then go out for ice cream with all our team mates. wooo...
In conclusion, no more school pour moi!!

OMG! Best thing ever much? World Affairs Council and the U.S. Army War College did the presentation today and I escorted a speaker! SO MUCH FUN! I love that guy too much and he gave me an honorary military coin. It was so so so cool. PIX LATER!
PLUS! The Lt. Col. Stuwart Risch watches the West Wing and idolizes Sam's writing skills. He freaking referenced the episode where he has to write a birthday message to a congressman in an effort to not go out with Mallory. OMG and he knew the name of the freaking episode. I DIED! And I also refrained from freaking out., I calmly said Yeah it's a great show. And he was all, yeah thats all we really watch over in Iraq during downtime. I almost peed my schpants.
So, right now I'm talking to Dallas about Bartlet and his crazy crazy jacket. And I think it's probably the best thing ever. Cause I can do that with my jacket only I don't almost kill people like CJ.
House is on the cover of TV guide this week. Pretty freaking cool
